Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is an actor most well-known for her role as Bo on the Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was created in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she plays the role of drama instructor in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother at work and attending play rehearsals. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still a kid. She earned a Bachelors in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Early theater work includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting career in the month of November 1999, and during the following decade relocated to Los Angeles California. She met her new spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's workshop located in Los Angeles in 2007. They got engaged in 2009, and then married in an unofficial ceremony in took place in December. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows at an Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk had a child who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on May 13, 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. In 2009, she was cast in the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was expecting while filming the final episode of the third season. Silk announced her pregnancy to the viewers in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special of January 6, 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th, 2013 that the show would return in production. The fourth season premiered on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN's Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top television Couples. E! named them the Top Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought a large online audience through social media.
