Monroe directed the film which was released on the 8th of October, the year 2010. Butler began shooting the psychological thriller The Stranger Within alongside Estella Warren and William Baldwin in Mallorca Spain in November 2011. The plan was to shoot in Copenhagen Denmark, New York City as well. Butler played a role in 2013's terror film The Demented with Michael Welch as well as Kayla Ewell.
